This clock can be powered by using either the USB from any computer or by using a USB power adapter used for IPOD or other USB powered devices.
This clock has many feature that will tickle even the programmers of the world, let alone anyone that likes fully functional gimmicks.
Ask yourself "Why have binary clock when you can have so much more?"
The clock will display hexadecimal, octal, binary and even Klingon, not to mention the normal decimal display like other boring digital clocks. Unlike other digital clocks this clock will let you know when power was lost by displaying the word UP on the display.

Setting time can not get any more simpler when connected to your computer and running the clock's application program. The computer can set the time, alarm, brightness and many other features just by clicking the mouse in the options menu without resetting the time or the alarm.
Setting time can also be done without a computer connection where it is getting it power from an USB AC adapter. Using only three buttons, you can set the time, alarm, modes (binary, hexadecimal, octal, Klingon, Decimal), brightness and more.
Other things can be done to this clock... for example you can have it display simple messages as shown below.

Just to show a few messages.
